2016 Latitude 41 Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lie

2016 Latitude 41 Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lie

Availability: Out of stock

Made from a selection of Nelson grapes from the plains and the Upper Moutere. The resulting full bodied wine has layers of fruit flavours that are associated with New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Spencer Hill’s very different winemaking techniques. A brilliant pale yellow in the glass, with a bouquet of gooseberry and tropical fruits. A palate of ripe fruit flavours with good acid balance. – at 12.5% nicely light on the alcohol as well – this is a delicious glass of Sauvignon.

Producer's notes
Philip and Sheryl Jones decided to create their dreams in the cool climate, beautiful region of Nelson, which is at the northern tip of the South Island. Philip's love of Pinot Noir began from a young age. He studied viticulture at the University of California. Having worked for some of California's finest, he decided that Pinot Noir was to be his lifetime's work. He planted his first vineyard in 1990 with his first release arriving in 1994. The vines are now in full glory.
