This weekends offering is full of optimism for the weather.  I don't think we will quite hit the highs of last weekend but its looking good enough for a BBQ or two.
R1 tasting
To help with making the most of the sun shining is the 2016 Williams Chase Rose Cotes De Provence.  I think the Chase stable have come up with another gem here.  There is a perfect balance here between fruit, minerality, a hint of creamines on the palate and a bone dry finish.
£18.99p/b or 6 for £90 (and if you are seriously fun loving then £104.99 for a Double Magnum)
Then to partner your burger/ steak /sausage, whatever takes your fancy I suggest the Bodegas Ego Parcel 77 Jumilla D.O.P.
A blend of Monastrell (aka Mourvedre and Mataro), Syrah and Petit Verdot.  This wine is Intense red cherry in colour, with a supple palate of ripe red fruits and spice and generous, yet sweet, tannins. All held together by a nice touch of vanilla from the 4 months in American oak.
£11.99 p/b or 6 for £60
